So much of the turmoil that we experience in life has a single root problem. The hymnwriter Joseph Scriven wrote in famous hymn "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" these words: "O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry, everything to God in prayer!" He is correct, but that still isn't the root problem. The root problem to so many of our issues is that we have a too-small view of God. Many factors contribute to this; it may be ignorance, it may be disillusionment, it could be a whole host of things, but I believe there is one significant antidote that will help clear most of them up. It is giving God praise for who He is, what He is like, and what He has done.
This message will focus on that idea, and is the first in a series of messages on God's plan and design for the human race. Today we will talk about God's creation of Man and Woman relating it to Mom's Day and really, life in general for all of us. I hope you will listen along if you can't come join in person!
