Jesus never intended for us to wait around for Him to return like patients in a waiting room. Rather, God saved us to serve! He gave each of His children special divine enabling to do His will here on earth; to lay up treasure in Heaven and bring Him glory down here. Not only is that our current mission and purpose, but it is also what will bring us the most joy and blessing. This message digs into Romans 12:1-8, explaining the reality and goal of the spiritual gifts we have all been given.

More Than a Metaphor

God loves to use metaphors in the Scriptures. They are very useful in helping us to understand God’s love for us, His relationship with us, and our relationship with Him. In the last message we looked at one of God’s favorite metaphors, that of Shepherd.
