I have been fascinated with the book of Colossians ever since I realized that it was written to a church that Paul had never visited. Jesus never intended for us to wait around for Him to return like patients in a waiting room. Rather, God saved us to serve! People have many ideas of what an ideal pastor is like. Some expect very little, others have fantastical expectations.
