Exercising Your Trust in God

Anxiety is a big problem.  Estimates show that 4% of the world's population struggles with it, according to the 2023 U.S. Census Bureau's Household Pulse Survey* over 19% of Americans report an anxiety disorder.  Studies indicate that Christians are not at all immune to this.  A complicating factor is that several times in the Scriptures, believers are commanded not to worry.  For some, this just adds a new worry - worrying about not worrying!  What can be done?

I think one of the problems is that we are often told what we shouldn't do, but not near as much time is spent on working out the specifics of what we should do.  I hope to change that in this message.  I want to give 3 simple but profound activities that we as Christians should engage in constantly that will not only help relieve the anxiety problem but will also bring us closer to our Saviour and to His perfect will for our life.
